I have made my own Christmas creations, decorated the house, listen to the music and still the Christmas emotions are at bay. I usually get that wonderful, warm feeling after it has passed, and then it's TOO LATE! any suggestions on how I can conjure some fuzzy warm Christmas feelings? BTW, Happy Holidaze to everyone!

Happy Holidays too! =) I used to get the same feelings too but I get them before the holidays begin. And I do know now why I don't get those fuzzy warm feelings. It's because I associate Christmas with everything material. I realize that when I focus on the true meaning of Christmas without the decorations and all, I get that warm fuzzy Christmas feeling. I did that by donating money to the less fortunate, buying gifts for loved ones and most of all spending Christmas with people who love me no matter what.

With each and each passing 12 months, the holiday has grow to be extra valuable commercialized. advantageous, as contained interior the West, the Christmas season has grow to be between the main appropriate procedures for producers, wholesalers, and retailers to make funds. Do you at circumstances experience that throughout each and all the insistent promoting, the harried looking out to purchase of grants, the adorning of timber, the organizing and attending of events, the sending of enjoying cards—Jesus has not straight away been disregarded of the image? there is a lot communicate at Christmastime approximately “peace interior the worldwide and sturdy will in process adult males,” even though surely that strife and family members arguments grow to be ordinary right this moment of 12 months. The Sunday Oregonian newspaper comments that interior the previous Christmas “some mum and dad and family members are working as lots as fights which will make Christmas Eve between the worst shifts of the 12 months for policemen.” Explains a sheriff’s deputy: “family members social amassing and drink, and that they start up discussing previous issues they’ve had and that they start up digging up hatchets that have been buried and could have stayed buried.” And between low-earnings families, “the stress of offering a competent Christmas for babies will enhance tensions and tempers heat temperature up,” says the Oregonian. “now and returned a house’s Christmas might correct be destroyed in a marital melee, with applications used as projectiles and the Christmas tree left in a shambles.” Christ does not approve of licentious pagan feasts, no remember if or not they're carried on in his call or not. Wish I could help ya there - I'm in the same boat.
I think it's the lack of snow, the other happenings in life right now, and the travelling I don't want to do but must.
I've been spending time with a wee child - and the child's excitement has been rubbing off a bit.
It's worth a try - borrow a friends wee kid - or if you have your own, take them - and go visit santa at the mall, go drive about at night and see the lights - that kind of thing. At the very least, listen to them make their Christmas lists - too funny and heartwarming.

Because appararently you don't have Christmas thougts. Feelings are the result of thougts not of circumstances. Thoughts are the result of words. Who have you been talking to lately? What words have you accepted in your mind? These determine your thougts (worrying = meditation on bad thougts and fear words!!) This proces takes time. If you start thinking Chrismas words and thougts (and the decoration helps to remind you to keep thinking these) eventualy your emotions will follow your thougts en will result in feelings.
There is more to it. Your feelings will determine your decisions, your deciscions your actions, your actions your habits, your habits your character and at last your character your destiny!! Start at the beginning, sow the Word of God in your heart and you will eventualy reap Godly results in your life

Try praying. and always remember. Christmas is about the special little boy who was born, not getting presents, or even giving them, this holiday is in memory of the greatest gift that God could ever give us: his own son.

try going to church, and put the Christ back in Christmas. Jesus said to drink from the living water (himself) otherwise you will continue to thirst or be unfulfilled... below is a great link that will get you to a church in your area.
