I am probably going to get a thumbs down for this, however. I like Michael Jackson's accomplishments. Not the recent events. If the stories are true, how his father was, it is no surprise that he turned out to be a tad odd. Given the amount of fame, no wonder he has turned out very odd. I am his age, so I grew up in the early 70's when the Jackson 5 first hit the scene...That was off the charts then. New; 5 little black kids on tv, the Ed Sullivan show to be exact, and here was this little black kid just dancing and singing up a storm. (it was a very white oriented time, television, etc.) I myself, couldn't imagine millions of people screaming at me, screaming and crying out my name, being tugged and pulled, and janked from one event to another, the lack of privacy, and virtually no childhood like you and I had, going outside, playing with friends, etc. He became a child star very fast. Then as he became an adult, the fame and fortune and expectations continued....I think so many factors led to his recent occurances. I do think he is odd for sure, I mean the plastic surgery alone is so bizzare it's off the charts!....One could say he got out of all the allegations because he had $ attorney's. That may be true, but, the notariety that the "Authorities" would have gained by convicting him would have made them famous. They wanted to "get" him. So, what I think, and just my opinion, he has had thousands of children to his Netherland home. Thousands. Yet 2, are professing abuse, TWO....With the PARENTS initializing the accusations. And they proved nothing. I don't know the guy, so I can't defend him, but I just don't think he would "hurt" a child sexually, I don't think he could. I don't think he could ever have a sexual relationship with anyone to tell you the truth. I don't think he has it in him. I really don't. I think he is odd for sure, and maybe I am the only one who thinks this. I know "kind" people turn out to be child molestors, so the soft spoken guy could be a mask for nastiness. But who we are talking about, I just don't see it in him...The parents were at his home, w/the kids....the older brother and sister were there, w/the boy in question, for a LONG time, then out of the blue, Child Abuse....by Broke parents who I think did it for the money......Money makes people nuts, and there is a very good example of it......Just my opinion....(I could be wrong, who knows......)

No... Given all the good that he has done musically, he has just become more and more strange as the years pass to where it is just too uncomfortable to watch/hear him.

i'm really not sure??!!!
i feel sorry for him.
but he'd done some fab music in his time it's sad to see him a shadow of himself. i don't think he will ever have the status that he once did.
