Kohl is a type of the color black and it's usually used for describing the color of a certain eyeliner I have a generic eyeliner from walmart and it's a kohl

I believe kohl eyeliners are those that are better at smudging to create smoky eyes. When you look at pencil eyeliner, you'll see that some are kohl and some are not. Kohl eyeliners go on smoother in my opinion.

Kohl is eyeliner pretty much. they use it mostly overseas to help block the sunlight from their eyes. Was used for hundreds of years. Unless you're talking about the store Kohls...then...well...
