Seriously i would go with John Edwards. He's young, but experience unlike Obama, smart, and most importantly from the south, which would help Dem pick up some more votes and he fits that stereotype of what white America wants. Forget Kerry he blow it. It's Edward/Obama '08.

JOHN McCAIN!!!
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the most recent poll of registered Democrat voters indicated that over 50% would NOT vote for Hillary or Obama -- now, this is coming from the party that is in a perpetual state of Church-Lady "Superiority Dance" because they're supposedly so much more enlightened, open-minded, understanding, and accepting than their conservative counterparts -- so how can you say neither of these candidates wouldn't win because of race or gender when the members of their own party (who should be high-minded enough to look past race or gender) wouldn't vote for them?
P.S.: John Kerry ruined any chance he might have had in '08 by his poor choice of words when allegedly trying to bash Bush but ultimately criticizing the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. He'll NEVER live that down.
P.P.S.: Al Gore doesn't have a chance either -- he lost all credibility during the 2000 election when he said he would concede the election if the Florida recount ended up in Bush's favor and then did an about-face.

When I was very young I was a democrat. Once I matured a bit I figured out what the democrats really were about and realized how bad for the people they really are. I'll never vote for or support another one.
Life is a continuing learning process and along the way I finally figured out the second worst thing for this country is party politics, especially the two major parties who do not in any way have the people's best interest at heart. Now, I carefully review the potential candidates and vote based on honesty, keeping their word and having the best interests of the people at heart rather than helping their buddies and lining their own pockets. For that reason, in the last 4-5 elections I have not voted for a democrat or a republican. Niether party is interested in what is good for this country.
Carefully, with an open mind and without all the silliness attached to supporting your party, look at what the candidate really stands for. Not what they say but what they have done. Are they somebody who you would allow in your home unattended? Would you allow then to be around your son or daughter? Do you really trust them to keep their word and do you believe in what they stand for? So far, there is nobody potentially running that I can see myself voting for because they are all lying thieves.

That would be yet another sacrificial lamb ticket for the Democrats. They would go down in noble defeat as have so many other stupid Democrat ideas. If they want to win, and sometimes it looks like they have a death wish, they need to do better than that. How many "double negatives" can you get on one ticket at a time?

Gender/Race will have nothing to do with it ..
You keep throwing idiots from the liberal wing and they get shot down .

Who ever it might be, whole world prays that, it should be a mature leader, who should try in earnest to heal the wounds and severe hurt caused by the Bush regime. They should concentrate on what needs to be done, rather than waste time in bringing Bush to face trial. That would be waste of effort. Let him be. Most rulers do some wrongs in good faith or some otherwise.

Al Gore. It would be great to have someone intelligent, who is respected by the rest of the world leaders and who cares that the Earth and all of us don't get destroyed by our greedy ways. The US needs a president who will bring this country the dignity we used to have and deserve.
