Van Halen for sure. Never thought that Jimi was all that talented.

i really do not think that Jimi Hendrix is in the same category as Guns N Roses and Van Halen. So if i had to pick between GNR and Halen I would defintly pick GNR. They were amazing and had a different sound to them.

3 DIFFERENT GENRES
classic rock mixed with psychedelia hendrix
the only hard bluesy rock band in the 80s guns
and the first fashion rock band of the 80s halen
... anyway you asked who is the best, and more contributions were given by jimi hendrix, while guns n roses are recognized everywhere, van halen is really bad

Jimi!!! He was a self taught guitar god. His music will outlive both GNR and Van H. GNR is an 80's golrified cover band. You mean Van Halen or Van Hagar?

are you for real hendrix in a leauge of his own there wouldnt be van halen or guns n roses without hendrix,musics boundrys were brought on a thousand years,a musician like him only comes around once in a blue moon

In the order you put them! NOBODY will ever play like Jimi we usually play him when we are really gone!!! I love Guns & Roses every song! partied to those ALOT! and the to Van Halen it all depends which era? sammy hagar was ok but I think he did better on his own album Marching to Mars. But when Jimi played the Star spangled banner that sends chills down your spine! every bass players dream. but why did you leave out one of the greatest bands of all time Lynard Skynard? sorry I am a 70's girl FREEBIRD!!!!

Guns N Roses had their moments, Van Halen whent through too many singers b/ DLR is an a**,
So in my opinion Jimi Hendri is the premier rockstar.....he took drugs, had the sex, played his music with style, and choked on his puke and died like rockstar.

i like guns n roses the best way better songs but hendrix is the best at the guitar
