Like all music videos, they are designed to tell a story. Which is odd cause i know what you mean. Does not make any sense seeing as she kills them all. Put it down to weirdness and move on.

but they know what she is like so they catch het out.

She THINKS that she's killed them and so she goes to jail but they tricked her, as they are all still alive.

the music is bout them no longer eager to communicate on their telephone..and the video is bout how they r 2 busy 2 communicate on their telephone and they r sortof operating from it.. the videoclip is somewhat some distance off i comprehend :P
