Cats. They are more independant. Give them food, water, and a clean litter box and you can leave them alone for a few days. Dogs, you have to let them outside, and when you go somewhere, have to ask a friend to come let them out. Unless they are outside dogs like my two are. Cats are cleaner too. They don't drool everywhere like dogs do. And they don't eat out of the litter box like my dogs do! (Ungh! Who would eat their own poop?)

i have four dogs and two cats that that mean a lot to me in different ways. for my cats i have kind of a respect but with my dogs it's an all out slobbery kisses, tail wacking (i've got lots of leg bruises to show for it) and just silly, happy, fun love!

I have one of each. I love my dog cause he's sweet and lets me pet his soft fur. My cat is a ***** and sometimes I go days without seeing her because she hides. Stupid cat.
