Right now it's Patricia Cornwell's 3 books in one-"Postmortem" "Body of Evidence" & "All that Remains". Right now I'm going through a phase with crime & punishment books & TV shows. I can buy used books at the library cheap, so I rarely read books when they first come out. I'll finish it. If a book doesn't grab me in the first chapter or two, I won't. I've read too many where I kept on waiting for it to get interesting & it never did.

I just finished reading "It's Okay To MIss The Bed On The First Jump...and other life lesson's I've learned from dogs" by John O'Hurley. I was entertained from cover to cover...it's a wonderful, funny book and it is actually filled with insight that is most helpful for daily living. Since I have 3 dogs of my own, I could certainly relate to it! It's so good I'm buying a copy of it for my dog groomer for Christmas!

I'm reading Abraham's Well by Sharon Ewell Foster, Proust's In Search of Lost Time and Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.

I'll finish the first book in a week, Proust by the end of 2007 and Alinsky by Christmas.

I'm 27 years old, but I recently finished two childrens' books that I really enjoyed. One is "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane". The author's name escapes me, but it is the same woman who wrote "Because of Winn Dixie". It was an absolutely wonderfuls short chapter book about a china rabbit doll who gets lost from the little girl who loves him. He comes to belong to several interesting characters in his life, and learns the meaning of love. A real tear-jerker, too! The second book is "Each Little Bird That Sings" by Deborah Wiles. It is a young-adult fiction about a little girl who grows up in a funeral home and her experiences with death, family, and growing up. I read it in about 3 hours because I could NOT put it down! Just goes to show that there is great reading out there in books you wouldn't normally think to pick up!

"Eragon". I'm getting to live a short while in an alternative world not of my own making. Yes, I will finish the book.

Anything by James Patterson is great. Especially the Alex Cross series. You will not be able to put those books down.
