Stairway will always be the best RECORDING. LIVE recording would have to be Freebird. Live shows can show the full potential of a song and freebird can be set on fire live!

well they are both great songs used in many movies and such, but i don't know if i could really choose. sth is more of a rock-urban type of song, and freebird has the feel of a good 'ol down south type of rock.
huh, i think i might go with freebird.

Both are great, but I am partial to Freebird, since I was taken to one of their concerts as a little boy...
