According to the DermatologyChannel.com, a dermatologist must have completed medical or osteopathic school which requires at least your bachelor's degree before entering it. The bachelor's degree should be pre medicine. In addition, it requires a 4 year residency involving the direct patient care of dermatology patients for three years and one year general residency.
