Why shouldn't the US be in control of the worlds nuclear weapons?

Because the U.S needs the nuclear weapons for self defense !!!

If you can convince Russia, China, France, England, Pakistan, India and Israel to let the US be in charge of all nuclear weapons then I'll go along with it.

certain, he does. this is why they save the "football" close to him in any respect situations. The football is a briefcase with each and each and every of the nuclear codes in case the president desires to rearrange them for use. Now save in ideas. Obama suggested for the duration of his campaign that he does not use nuclear guns lower than any condition. He also suggested he does not weaponize area (ie. missle protection gadget).

I mean, are they going to ask Russia, China, and France nicely to hand over control?
Do I as a citizen of country allied to US have trouble with them having control? No. Just don't see it happening.
They might succeed in preventing some countries from getting them tho.

Well, I am not convinced that we should be in Control of that, but we certainly should have spies to tell us how many everyone has so that we can stay on top and be able to defend ourselves. That is the goal after all, right?

We are being forced into the police of the world role, because no other country seems to be willing to step up and take it, so we have to have the only thing that the rouge world leaders respect.

Uh because we are not the worlds police. Because we dont own the world. Because it is not our job. Because hard to admit but we don't always know whats best.

Probably because we can't be trusted with them. We are the only country to have ever used them, and twice! That and the fact that we have "lost" several others.
