Is it important to have Memory card. to play any cd.. or u can still play cd even u dont have memory card..
I brought ps2 which dont come with any memory card.... so do i have to buy memory card.. or its work with cd also

are you referring cd to game? if so you need the memory card to save your place in the game most games will allow you to play without it but you can't save it. sometimes you can get lucky and find a used one for cheap at stores like EB gamecrazy or gamestop.

You can play a cd, dvd, or game without a memory card. You need a memory card to save your progress in games, so you should probably get one eventually...it makes playing alot more fun because then you actually get somewhere...lol

it should work fine. You dont need the memory card, because you are not saving the cd...like you could. Anyways the playstation2 should work with movies as well. You just need the memory card to save games.

You can play the games with out a memorycard, but can't save anything. You can buy the memory cards for around $20.00. SInce you have a PS2 I suggest you get Gutair Heros II. That is a kick azz game.

It works without one, but you cant save any data. If you are playing a game with a memory card, you can save and resume where you left off last time. So I'd say buy one unless you plan to beat all your games in one sitting.

You can't save games without a Memory Card. It has no Hard Drive. So unless you play games you can beat in one sitting then yes you need one.

You do not have to buy a memory card, unless you want to save your games, settings or anything else that may require you to save date. The CD-ROM discs are read only, so you can't save your progress on them.

ok you don't need your memory card to play games but if you want to save your progress in the games you need a memory card because thats were all the game progress gets saved
