would people give up an opinion or a point of view in exchange for being happy?

like would YOU give up being RIGHT about some aspect of how the upcoming hollidays should go or shouldn t go for the greater good and happiness of all around you? Or would you rather be "right" and toast the whole goddamn affair?

People submit themselves all the time just to stop the indecisiveness of a group.

"Ah, who cares... I'll let him/her have it their way."
