Yes. With both of my pregnancies, I had a period in the first month. My doctor argued with me and told me that I wasn't pregnant then, but my ex didn't care for sex much, so there was NO doubt in my mind when I had gotten pregnant. I had a great-aunt that had a period for 8 months of her pregnancy. Now I would think that would have been unhealthy for the baby. But it was in the 40's, and the baby still lived. This aunt said that she always had at least one month of period with ever pregnancy. Good Luck and Congrats, if you are pregnant!

Yes it is normal to still have periods but if you are worried and start suffering with stomach pains then speak with your midwife

a small amount of breakthrough bleeding is common and can be mistaken for a period. Any bleeding during pregnancy however should be reported to a midwife.

It is possible, although rare...If you're worried or if the periods are unusually heavy then I'd suggest going to the doctor.

You can have a "period" while you are pregnant. But if you suspect you are pregnant and you are bleeding please go and see a doctor immediately. There may be a simple explanation, always best to get it checked out.

Yep you sure can, but it may be a sign of something being not quite right, you really should go see your Doc and have it checked. Sooner rather than later.
