Other concerned parties: Mostly industry. They would have to spend money to fix the problem.
Government: Gets money from the industrial lobbyists so the industry doesn't have to spend the money fixing up their stuff.

the two aspects, for and against, have documents to assist their claims. you are able to no longer take one length and declare a link or the shortcoming thereof. that may not how technology works. I won't say that international warming is actual, even nonetheless the final consensus between human beings smarter than the two human beings is that international warming does exist. If international warming does exist, it is not something we observe suitable away, and it is not in Cleveland. For one, it particularly is going to be in oceanic temperatures. the sea is a large thermal regulator; it relatively is tremendously no longer ordinary to alter its temperature lots. it additionally will take so lots extra documents than we at present ought to tutor its life. whilst just about all scientists will agree that the temperature in the oceans has been starting to be, they disagree as to the reason. Many blame international warming; others blame a periodic warming and cooling of the planet which exhibits us nearing the top of the cycle (it repeats each and every 10,000 years or so.) additionally, those against international warming cite plane emissions and different gases we are emitting into the air concurrently that help replicate the sunlight's capacity. it relatively is nonetheless up in the air, and as much as I even tend to despise Congress and their lack of ability to make reported judgements on scientific concerns which they understand no longer something approximately, i do no longer blame them for final unsure. EDIT: If the polar ice caps have been to soften, they could in simple terms reason the water point to upward push approximately 8 meters, or 20 ft. I swear, human beings observed Waterworld and freaked out. Granted, 20 ft is multiple sea coast, yet manhattan is unlikely everywhere.

Yes you're right it's all hype. Rich get richer, rich poor divide gets wider and meanwhile blame the man in the street for having a breakdown over recycling (no community care anyway) when the pubs and supermarkets just don't bother. MAD make a difference? utter rubbish, just a gov bandwagon to deflect from the corruption and greed within. Remember Arthur in Eastenders stole the pension fund and Pat killed a child in her car? We're supposed to remember the good bits, rest is just a dream. Ho ho ho

I believe that the main cause of the Accelerated Global Heating is in the great and increasing forest fires that are whipping to the planet in the last years.

It's all about money. Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace were warning governments 20 years ago about the environment and they treated them as extremists and dismissed their ideas. Now the government are blaming us (you and I) for contributing to the mess we are in. In doing this they are making more money eg higher fuel prices, charging for waste disposal, heavy fines for putting the wrong items in the wrong bins etc. The government could take massive steps tomorrow to stop global warming but they do not, because they are not profit making.

Global warming comes before GREED in the dictionary but not in the real world...it comes after TOUGH SH IT. Hypocracy is in there somewhere too...Do as I say and not as I do that should be the government 's motto.

Global warming is a massive issue, however human beings are to selfish to do anything about it, to be honest we know it wont really be bad in our life time so we don't really bother doing anything and we don't want to make things more difficult... its a shame cos i do believe global warming probably will destroy the planet.. but we are all to ignorant to do anything

It is a case of Do as we say not do as we do. Having said that I own a diesel car so I am a guilty party too. I could use a bike.

Politicians tend to only think as far ahead as the next election.
It needs huge and sustained public pressure to get them to face up to their responsibilities.
Elections in our (British) electoral system tend to be determined by a few thousand floating voters in a few marginal seats, and floating voters tend to vote according to short term self interest rather than moral principles.

It's easy to say you're for a cause, but if a person can make more money being against it, that's usually what they'll do.
