Duh. Of course it would be good. Less babies would be murdered. Abortions might not cease but at least it would be much harder to obtain one, and if caught there would be legal consequences. I'm hoping and praying that someday this will happen.

If abortions were made illegal I think there would be a lot of cases of women dying from abortions done wrong. Making something illegal will not stop them from having abortions...it will just make them get abortions done by people who don't know what they are doing. I don't think abortions should be made illegal. There should be certain restrictions put on abortions, but they should not be outlawed becuase in some cases abortions are necessary.

I don't really agree with abortions but I don't disagree either. I think a person should be allowed to do what they want. Just like if u want u can go eat,sleep,smoke,drink,party,dance,yell,sing...etc.
In some situations it is best for a person to go get an abortion. They might have been raped and most likely will hate the child and treat it terribly. our foster homes these days are not the best so adoption and orphanages are still not the best option.
Some people know they cannot afford to raise a child. The best thing for them to do is maybe abort. You never know someones situation. U never know what someone is going thru at home. They might have parents that find out if they are pregnant, threaten to kil them or something.
So know I don't think it should be illegal. But I do think that there should be rules and regulations..Just my opinion.

I am personally against abortion, but I know realistically that women who want to terminate their pregnancy will do so if it is legal or not. By making it illegal, the doors to illegal clinics that will not have to keep any standards for sanitary or hazards associated with an abortion. Not to mention equipment that is not inspected. Realistically, it will be a disaster.

It's hard to say. On one side I think as women, we have the right to decide if we want to have a child. Especially in rape situations. However, some women (not all) see abortion as a way out of a mistake they made. Pregnancy is a consequence of our actions, and we need to be RESPONSIBLE and CARE who we have sex with. When that happens, less abortions will be needed. I think abortion is morally wrong - but I worry that making it illegal won't deter women from seeking it out.

I aggree with abortions, IN CERTAIN SERCUMSTANCES.... For instance, if you have an ailment and know the baby wouldn't have a healthy life or if you were rapped. I know that taking the life a child sounds horrible, but you want to have the best possible thing for that child, you should be allowed to choose if wether you can give this child the best possible life. If we didn't have abortions, we would have a lot of homeless children. I am not sure if I would want to watch a child go through that kind of pain. You know your own limitations and you know if you are ready to become a parent or not. I would rather have my unborn baby living in the kingdom of god than in a bad situation.
BUT if you are trying to get rid of this child for personal gain, then I COMPLETLEY DISAGREE....

In a perfect world, there wouldn't be any need for abortion. But we don't live in that perfect world do we?
If abortion was made illegal, the same thing would happen, as happens with every morale law we have. They create venues for criminals to make more revenue than a college degree.
Look at drugs:
if they were decriminalized, it would still be the same people getting addicted and killing themselves on them, that do it now.
so realisticaly, by making them illegal, we drove up the price and gave crimials a more lucrative, and less risky business than armed robbery.
if you dispute this comment, then take a gander at cigarette smokign behavior. now that people know it is bad for you, more thna just a few commercials from "drug free" country advocates telling you lies about it, people are quiting in droves, and more people know to say no to the pier pressure, than ever before.
AND THEY ARE!
terf wars between criminals have been created, that catch many innocent people in the every year. etc.
That is just one of the many examples.
now if you look at the history of abortion criminalization, you will see that anyone who has tried to ccriminalize it created more problems than it was worth.
Don't get me wrong, i am against abortion, but I try to think logically about the matter.
If it is criminalized, there will be no regulating it at all.
aborted fetuses wil not be disposed of properly, and sanitary environments will not eb used. Lack of sanitation, isn't just the problem of the person seeking the abortion, but everyone in the community as well!
I am happy with the dog in the front yard, chewing on the occasional dead bird, that it finds on the streets. Its pretty easy to explain to children. I doubt it would be near as easy to explain it chewing on an improperly disposed of, dead fetus when the kids start asking about it, thinking it is a doll, but softer and more squishy.

I am in the middle of the abortion debate. I am against it being used as a birth control but am for it in special cases (rape, incest and life or death of mother)
As for your question, I think more people will be looking at underground abortions. So more adults and/or teens will be seriously hurt or even killed by underground abortions.

You know there is a verse in the Bible, I think Exodus, that says "If a man harms a woman and causes her lose the fruit of her womb, the man should pay a fine determined by a judge." Sounds to me like a minor infraction. Certainly not as serious as as say, swearing at your parents, which the Bible says should carry a penalty of death.
As to the legality in this day in age, if abortions were made illegal now we would go back to rich people sending their kids out of the country for abortions and poor people trying to do it at home with a coat hanger.

Honestly I do not agree with abortions, but we cannot make them illegal. By abortions being illegal other problems would occur, such as women going to some dirty back alley to get an abortion from some questionable character, who may end up dying due to unsanitary equipment. I think it should be legal, but there should be some control measures.

I believe there will be lots of chaos if abortion were made illegal. Women have the choice to do what they wany with their baby, and for those who believe that they are taking life away, they may be taking the mothers life away also. Babies can be very stressful and in some cases abortion is for the best. In the end, I guess the mother has the right to do what she wants and no law should restrict that from her. So my answer to your question is no I do not believe that it will be good.
