If it wasn't for him being a personal friend of Margaret Thatcher this man would have been sentenced years ago.
It was only his ill health that stopped the Spanish Government from arresting him a few years back for the deaths of Spanish Nationals.

Its not fair, no. The man should have answered to his crimes.
Unfortunately, there is very little you can do to stop someone dying, and he was not a young man either - fairness sadly doesnt come into it, he had the best medical treatment possible and sadly it was just his time.
Regardless, the world is better off without him - and like someone else said, hopefully there is a place worse than prison waiting for him.

It's not fair, but life rarely is. The only solace the families of the disappeared and those who were tortured and forced to leave their country can take is that he is now burning in hell and will do for eternity.
