I don't get it either, but I'm an old fuddy duddy at 33. A lot of them just look like whores to me, like the Pussycat Dolls for example.

More flesh showing sells,i think you shouldnt have to show flesh to sell records it should be your voice that gets people buying there music.

Because sex sells as most of us now are brainwashed in a sex orientated society.
If they were dressed more reasonably, they would have never done as well because they would have been seen not cool and with the wrong look (from what people expect).
Sad but true.

Usually it's because the singer(s) can't sing, no quality hence have to show flesh, hopefully it will work to sell their album!

They like to show off because they either feel insecure, or they want to show off because some people don't got what they wish they had.

it's a marketing strategy.. when u sing, you get to strip a lil sumthin sumthin.. and quite true enoguh, it sells.
