The stuff between the tiles is called grout.
There are several grout cleaning products. Just go to Home Depot or Lowe's and ask for grout cleaner.
While you're there, buy grout sealer as well. This is liquid and is easily applied with a cloth or a small paint roller. Wipe up any excess and allow to dry according to instructions on the bottle.
This will prevent any future discoloration, and protect from mold or mildew.

The best way of getting the grouting white again is by getting an empty spray bottle and fill it with undiluted Domestos bleach. You can spray it onto the grout and leave it for about 45 minutes. You can then take clean water and rinse the Domestos off. You will find that if you do it once a week, you will not have any problems with mould or any discolouration of the grout.
Remember to use kitchen cloves and a mask when you use bleach, because it has got a strong smell. Make sure there's enough ventilation in the bathroom. Do not buy the Domestos in a spraybottle, because it has been diluted.

Go to your local B&Q or big d.i.y superstore and buy some grout paint. I did it because i had the same problem. It will take a few hours but after it will be like new again.

Just clean them and then use bleach, it works just fine. My grouting goes pink coz of the cr#p they put in the water. every so often I lightly bleach the tiles. Looks spanking new after!

You can get a tile filler, that doesn't discolour or go mouldy, just go to your local DIY shop.
