ya!...2006 Champs VS 2005 Champs :)!
Its impossible to predict.....anything can happen at any stage! Liverpool haven't been as good as they are..but they have been playing few great games here & there...while Barca'll have Messi and Eto'o by then *grins*..! but then will they be at their best after their injury..nobody can say...but neway i hope Barca wins...

Barca have a lot of injuries now but maybe by the time the tie comes around they will be healthier and stronger.
Liverpool have recently it seems just begun hitting their normal form and they are 4th in the league I think. But I am not always sure about their abilty to score. Barca is tough team but has so many weapons it may also wreck the Liverpool backline.

as a barca fan i was hoping for liverpool or man u as this would be the only chance a barca match gets televised live in the usa. as andygurl said, this should be one cracker of a match. The reds are in form and theyre dangerous in the CL

Great game.On paper,Barcelona should win but never underestimate Liverpool,especially in the Champions League.2 seasons ago,they beat Chelsea,Juventus and Milan to take the cup against all odds.And the 2nd leg is at Anfield.So they do have a good chance.I am hoping they would win.

Barcelona!!!! Of all the last 16 games, the Spaniards are against the toughest opponents...the other 3 english sides have it easier...(chelsea have porto, arsenal have psv and man u have lille)
So, if the Catalans beat the Reds, there is definitely a genuine "European flavor" and not just a Premiership debacle. I hope other teams win the CL... I'm kinda tired if seeing the Big Three Leagues win it.

Kasper is wrong. It'll be Barca who's gonna crush Liverpool.
It's gonna be a very tough match for both the teams. But, I think Barca is gonna win it. I think the match will take place on the 20th/ 21st of February. And, by then the Barca HEROES (Messi and Eto'o) will be back.

I'd prefer Liverpool to win...but their strikers are crap at the moment and on current form I think Barca will batter them!!
