If you are interested in absolute virginity, masturbation will compromise it. But technical virginity allows it. I wouldn't advise you what to do in the matter since it is so personal.
Full sex requires penetration and the perforation of the hymen, which will cause bleeding on the first and, probably, on a few subsequent occasions, until the delicate protective hymen is gone. In the old days, a Bishop would check if the bride of the king bled on the first night to ensure that she was indeed a virgin. You can't really tell if your hymen is broken or not. You would need a doctor to check it for you. Even if it is already broken you will probobly still bled a little the first few times you have sex. This is due to the walls of your vagina being stretched.
