They'll need to win the next two games against Arizona and Denver. And the Seahawks would have to lose to Sandiego and Tampa Bay. What are the chances?

SF can win there next two games. Arizona is not that good and Denver's quarterback, Jay, sucks. San Diego will crush the Sea hawks but your problem lies with Tampa Bay. If Tampa wasn't a bunch of pu$$ies then they might upset the Sea hawks.

Chances SF wins out 60%.
Chances Seattle loses out 20%.

Chances SF makes playoffs 40% and that's giving the benefit of the doubt.

Hahaha. Good joke. Listen, the only way the 49ers will be at the top of their division is if Seattle either transfers to a new city or if all their players are transfered to new teams or retire. 49ers will beat Arizona IF Matt (Leinart) and Kurt (Warner) plays horrendously. Denver- no chance. They are good. Seahawks- They played bad, but the bounce. All good teams do. Chargers- Maybe a win or a loss. But Tampa Bay- Win. Tampa Bay has NO OFFENSE. Id say that in front of Brad's (Gradkowski) face. Seahawks win conference BUT 49ers go to playoffs.

I dont see Seattle losing to Tampa, nor do I believe San Fran can go into Denver and beat the Broncos. If Seattle wins 1 of their last 2 games, or San Fran loses 1 of their last 2 games, then its over... So, the chances are pretty slim at best.

i imagine that they have got a professional shot on the dep. identify. If the playing cards are not solid the 49ers can take the AFC West. also we ought to beware of Pete Caroll and The Seahawks. The NFC West this lokks like a achievable close race this 12 months.

well it's as you said if the 49ers win their next two games and seattle loses their next two games then san fran will win the division with an 8-8 record due to the tiebreaker of head to head match ups with san fran winning both games this year and while it's possible that san fran can go 8-8 and look towards next year seattle still has a chance of winning their division because they have two games left with one against tampa bay which is a winnable game for them so unless seattle falters down the stretch and san fran can win their last two then anything's possible as of right now

yes they could but they won't. they will lose to denver and they seahawks will lose to san diego but both the 49ers will beat Arizona and Seattle will beat Tampa which brings them back to where they are right now.

The odds are stacked against them. They would have to have a horse shoe stuck up their behind to run the table and Seattle to lose the remaining two games. It's possible although quite unlikely.
