C is a general-purpose, procedural, imperative computer programming language developed in 1972 by Dennis Ritchie at the Bell Telephone Laboratories for use with the Unix operating system.[1] It has since spread to many other operating systems, and is now one of the most widely used programming languages. C has also greatly influenced many other popular languages,[2] especially C++, which was originally designed as an enhancement to C. It is the most commonly used programming language for writing system software,[3][4] though it is also widely used for writing applications.

C is a low level procedural language, as opposed to C++ which is a higher level object oriented language.

C is a very fast language that is still used today in time critical operations such as embedded systems, device drivers, and algorithm development. Though not as fast as optimized assembly code, the advantages in maintainability and readability over assembler make it the language of choice for any application that needs to perform hardware level operations.

We need a language to communicate with computers and so languages came into existence.
C was one such language that was developed by Dennis Ritchie at AT&T bell laboratories.
And it helps in developing graphics.
we can even develop games using it.
This c program more easier than BASIC and FORTRAN.

no longer anymore, at one time C++ became in simple terms an extension of C. on the grounds that then, C has replaced, and so has C++. even nonetheless that being suggested it is commonplace for the comparable application to assemble the two C and C++. the tactic is the comparable, yet there are in simple terms some differences int he libraries which you relatively want the compiler to link to.
