Cole is a strong, western-sounding name. You want a name to go with Alexandra? Just concentrate on his own name, not to go with someone else's, like his sister or whoever.

Nicholas is just too cutesy to go with Alexandra (Nicholas and Alexandra, Russian Royalty) the others are last names.
Keep in mind the child, not you, has to live with the name for the rest of their lives.
I knew some people in the 60's that named their children funny or cutesy names.
Now imagine you are wanting to hire a potential bank vice-president. One of the applicants is named Circleoffire Tokesmoke Williams. Chance of looking close at that name?

Aside from the Alexandra part, I like Harrison the best.
Why does it need to go with Alexandra?

I really like the name Cole. It's such a strong, masculine sounding name. Why does it have to go with Alexandra?

My 1-yr old son's name is Connor and I get a lot of compliments on his name.
I also have a 5 yr old step-grandson named Cole. (I have a 25 yr old stepson)
I like both names.
