Generally, you graduate from high school. Go to undergrad and get a degree. Go to law school and graduate. Take some state's Bar and pass. Ta da! You're now a lawyer licensed to practice.

Some places allow you to skip law school and take the bar if you have a lawyer or judge train you and certify you without needed a law degree. Look up a state's particular Bar for details on that.
