Yeah do it go on! Tell them that to become good people later in life they have to experience at least one Christmas like the poor! Take a video recording of it and post it on youtube or something like it so I can see! (I'm being evil today!) xxx

thats a little harsh to spend that money that you would spend on your kids for beer. Let the belive what they want. It is the money that you do spend on the "santa" and to see them wake up happy on christmas day. At least you wouldn't say "santa died" to your kids on Xmas day like mine did. Let the belive until they ask you until then just keep playing the "santa" role.

Wow...you shouldn't have kids if you feel this way. There are too few things that kids have to believe in these days that are good, why would you want to take that away from them? Just so you can have a few beers?

That's awful--even if they figure it out on their own, don't deprive them of the magic. I'm 43, and my parents still give me presents in the name of "Santa"! I don't believe in some "jolly old elf" living at the North Pole, but I believe in some magical spirit which comes over people at this time of year, and if you want to call that "Santa Claus," more power to you.
