Chinese people are upset at rosie o'donnell saying "ching-chong" a white guy uses the "n" word and is lambasted, but black guys this morning are saying "Hey, whats up my n*gga?" and that is cool to them? You don't want to jew anyone down or you will upset them. and you certainly don't want to make fun of Muhammed or they will burn you in effigy. But if you make fun of the bible or do a painting with crap on a cross. That is ok. I am just wondering what your opinion on P.C. is. Is it good that we are being more sensitive or has it gone so far as to even infringe on your right of freedom of speech and opinion?

In the UK and probably the states too it has gone from being sensitive to being pathetic. When you can't ask for a black coffee and can't wish somebody merry christmas in case you offend somebody. I mean come on!

Political Correctness has gone way too far. It is ruining society. It was good at first but now it is applied to everything all of the time. It is to the point of being ridiculous. As long as a person's heart is in the right place, that is what really matters, not the politically correct words coming out of his mouth. And I do not like the word "challenged" because it sounds like a competition or like the person can overcome his situation if he tries hard enough. But that is just my opinion.

politically correct mean you dont want to offend someone by saying public things that are either not true or are true but dont want to be crucified for saying it.
if people invite their own slang, its up to them to choose to do it.
but there laws against slander and discrimination
the next time a black guy insults a white woman or man, have that person press charges, file a complaint or get him arrested.
the law is supposed to be blind and equally balanced in america!
if some judge is racist, have him removed by petition and press charges against them.
BTW, almost all judges who belong to Masonic secret societies are unfair in legal judgements.
Just as almost all witches and wizards and secret combinations are too. if you are a judge and bought and owned by the mafia, you cant do something politically without their approval, therefore another form of being politically correct is doing everything correct so you dont end up in the bottom of the ocean with cement shoes, or a lump in the nevada desert in a shallow grave.
These things go on all the time.
I think the Movie Hannibal is a testament of what really goes on underground. So save your lives and be polittically correct

Political Correctness is the criminalization of common sense and a by-product of a culture that has it way too easy.

There are bigger issues waiting for us overseas, like a nutjob working feverishly to join the nuke club and start another genocide.

Frankly, I'm more worried about being forced to buy a burqa for my wife and having to attend daily prayers at the local mosque than offending thin-skinned people in this country.

You should always mind your audience and be sensitive around others....if you are Christian you wouldn't appreciate someone denouncing the bible infront of you, however at the same time, people should not be so offended so easily.....if someone is saying you don't like, well your not obligated to listen to him and be there, you can just ignore him and leave.......

I only think P.C is good to protect from Hate Speech....such as flat out saying "I hate Chinese people" or "to hell with immigrants" or something like that, thats a no-no.

But hey everyone should be able to take a joke too. People think that everyone else's job is to please them. Well don't come to me if thats what you think

Respect is always the best answer. But in terms of enforcing a PC issue we are going much too far.
