Is a person perverted from birth?

or does he/she becomes one ? (eg. serial rapist/killer, pedo, etc)
or does every human has the potential to be one ?

There's a great movie about that exact theory called "The Bad Seed". I do believe that some people are born perverted or evil from birth. Something in their brain is wired wrong. Two kids can have the same parents, same experiences growing up and one can become a serial killer or rapist while the other becomes an upstanding citizen.

no people arent born the way they are now. We were born neither good or bad, the only instincts are for food, thrist, and other survival needs.
A person becomes a serial killer or whatever because of their surrondings and how they grew up. Do you ever realize that serial killers always kill people with at lease one thing in common. For example "jack the ripper" the victims were all women and there were other common factors. In this case its because jack the ripper detest his mom which made him think that all other women with the same factors are the same. Its the same in reality, our minds are really fragile and get confused easily. When we start to hate and detest one, we end up doing things we think in our subconcious and when we realize we are wrong we shut ourselves in and eventulaly loosing our way out, then we might think that everyone is the same and we have to get rid of them.
Everyone does have the potential to be one because we are all human that learn from our surronding and experience. We slowly learn from growing up to use all necessarity to protect ourselves and to some it means killing those that seem to be the same as ones that hurted them.
As for people that are perverted it might be because of their parents or something. Or it may be because of their girlfriend cheating on them or they think that its the only way of getting attention, im not quite sure about this.
Do i make sense? If you can understand all of this, then i think you are really good at putting yourselve is other's shoe and imagination, if not, then oh well.

No I think it has to do with the way the grown up. Some of these people have been sexual abused and molested by people at young ages. Guessing they think it's ok to do the same too. As for serial killers, say they grew up around a lot of violence and seen a lot of killings... etc and never knew right or wrong. All has to do with bad parenting and bad childhoods.

I think the tendency (gene)to be,, yes..The choice is made to act upon it by the individual... I get that by watching my kids. They really don`t even know their SORRY ASH daddy. have been raised by their step-dad with a good work ethic and morals..But they both have some WAYS like there dad that they have never saw in him (but I have). They are not perverted but other things like that.

i think every human has the potential to become one. i don't think it is something from birth because a baby comes into the world with no knowledge of these things.

Oh, come on. Paedophiles are not the way they are by choice. You don't choose who you're attracted to and neither do they.

Edit: I don't think people are born in any particular way. Experiences make you who you are. You can make your own choices and learn things differently but you are influenced either directly or indirectly by the things going on around you. It may only be a small thing, but it can have a great effect.
