I have an old iPod and they are a pain. For one thing the battery doesn't last long before you have to charge it. Another thing is if you have music on another player (for example Windows Media Player) you can't import them to itunes. You can only use itunes MP3's. I haven't broke mine but they freeze up from time to time and they do get scratched up very easily. I would recommend the Creative Zen. They use any MP3's and they are nicer quality. My friend has one and she loves it and would recommend it to anyone. Hope this helps!

Ipods can break and scratch easily. There are better mp3 players on the market that are all around better than an ipod. Try one called the Zune.

It's a great mp3 player. You just have to be a careful person. One drop on the floor and it can break. I'd recommend getting an iPod and a case for it that keeps it from scratching and all that.

They really don't sound that great and if you ever drop or hit it the small hard drive is toast. I don't like the headphones they have no bass. The itunes website is missing some major music choices to download. I bought one and it broke in the first week.

they are fine. Millions of people have them. There is a very small percentage of Ipods that break without the user doing something to them.
