I was thinking a game or something..

For ex. one idea is to "decorate" the boss. We would stand him up and decorate him with toilet paper etc... like a tree. Someone suggested bingo.. any others? btw the party is tuesday.

Pick one of these games and set a short time limit.

Even if they don't get a chance to answer all of the questions, they will get a chance to groan when you give out the answers.

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

For parties mixers like this work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversatrion lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groans of the answer section.

Can you all dance? Even a little bit? Do a goofy dance routine to a Christmas medley. I would pick songs like the Chipmunks "The Chipmunk song", I Want a Hippopotomus for Christmas", etc. The more ridiculous the better. Make the routine just as ridiculous. Pantamime even.

I would enjoy seeing something like that.

One year we took the song "Twelve days of Christmas" and rewrote it to fit our own office situation... for example, "on the first day of Christmas my good boss gave to me, a cartridge for the printer. On the second day of Christmas my good boss gave to me two days off and a cartridge for the printer" and so on. If you really play it up and do each number all the way through, it can easily take 7 to ten minutes. It was such a hit, they had us write it on a poster and they put it up by the elevators all the way through new years!

Why don't you re-enact the wire hanger scene in Mommie Dearest, or an abbreviated version of the Dynast Season 6 finale...
