I remember my favorite toys when I was younger was a doll and a wagon. We were always quite poor, but I was always happy with the few toys I did recieve.
Today, my kids, girl, 12, boy, 9, and girl, 5 don't play vidio games but maybe once a month. My 12 year old asked for a new bike, and some craft bead kits to make jewelry. My 9 year old wanted an erector set (I highly recommend), and a nerf gun. My five year old wants dress up clothes, aquadoodles, and a doll.
If you are shopping, get the kid something they can play with other kids, or better, you with, and create some lasting memories.
If I were a kid again, I wouldn't change a thing. I'd want a wagon and a doll.

the feeling of Christmas when I was a child; the excitement of waiting for Santa Claus; the old fashioned Christmas lights; everyone had a real Christmas tree; we had more snow then; kids were always outside in the neighborhood sledding, building snowmen and snow igloos ; our parents had to drag us in , our cheeks were so rosy from being outside so long; stores weren't opened on Sunday so everyone went visiting each other , Sunday was always a family day with family and dinner; the excitement of going to my Grandmothers on Christmas Eve with a house full of people and her always spoiling us with gifts that we really wanted; the fun times of playing with all our toys with my brothers and sisters on Christmas night; that is what I would wish for if I could right now. Merry Christmas

Just being a kid again would mean that my father would still be alive, he pasted when I was 13. The feelings at Christmas as a small child is priceless.

I am not a christian. I am 30 now. But even today I remember a christmas celebration we had with one David Uncle next to my house 20 years back. We played musical chair game and he gave a lot of gifts to us according to our winning criteria (we picked our gifts from the Christmas tree). I want to be a kid and play that game with David Uncle.

I'd love to go back to just spend a day with my family, to see my mum again and to have that innocence again, to be completely surrounded by the magic of Christmas and believe in Santa Claus. To be a child with no knowledge of the worries and problems that adulthood brings. And my gift would be to have that entire day and remember it always.

If I were a kid I would like a little sister for Christmas. I never felt how it is to give love to someone.

If I was a kid, right now, in this age, I'd love a laptop computer, instead of this old clunker I have.
When I really was a kid, they didn't have home computers.

I'd still want a Cosy Coupe, a red/yellow toy car that you could get in the Early Learning Centre. I never had one as a child and had to use the ones at nursery instead!
