The great - who exactly? Britain has more famous people in some villages than are in some STATES.
The good - oh like those who founded a country on slavery, and were living in an apartheid country until the mid-sixties, and have consistently repressed minorities throughout the entire history of the country.
The free - a country where less than 2% of the population's vote ACTUALLY counts; those who live in a swing state, and aren't a registered supporter of a party.
How are 'england' (when in fact you mean Britain, an example of you living in the country of the ignorant) and Spain supposed to become as 'good' as the US? Should we become the 51st and 52nd states? Sell our souls to starbucks and walmart like the rest of the US has? I'm perfectly happy living the way I am and being different to the US.

Considering there are over a hundred and ninety other countries with unique cultures and proud people, I feel that each country should make their own choices. People have different values and different definitions for what freedom is and what is good. Respect what they have decided as they seem to be happy with it for hundreds of years and it seems to work. The US is a superpower both militarily and economically but China and Japan could easily ruin the US economy. Not many people will gain from that but the US dollar would have a lower value. The US should not be the moral police of the world. They have no right to infringe on the sovereignty of any nation. Nations must choose their own destinies.
Another observation of mine is that English is not a country. It is a language. Please read what you write before posting. At the very least, it will not weaken your argument.

Do you Mean the greatest terrorist in the world? No country
should strive to be "like USA". We have become a
bureuacratic form of governing under the guise of "Democracy",
when we are at best heading for Socialist Anarchy.
If the next generation has one Bill of Right still in place
it will be a surprise. A Great Nation can be judged only
on one thing, how children are viewed, cared for, and their
speicial years protected

You have a president that no one voted for, who hasn't a clue whats going on outside his office, who drags other countries into his wars.
Is this the example you are talking about?
