There is more than one undergound line under the Thames. It would take a truly enormous explosion to break the cast iron tunnel lining segments and an even bigger one to break through to the Thames. The bomb that went off on the Piccadilly line between Kings Cross & Russell Square in July 05 certainly didn't damage the tunnel itself.
Hitler's bombs never breached the undergound under the Thames 1939-45.
