I've seen them standing there with, like, 50 balloons. When a kid comes up to buy one, how do they find the right string ?

Why don't they get tangled up ?

As a previous balloon seller I can say that you just find it. WHen you pick the balloons up you don't get them tangled. We used to blow them all up and then grab hold of them so the strings weren't tangled, just dangling.

And the kid points at the balloon and you can just look to see what one it is, follow it with your eyes and take it.

The kid picks the string from the bunch above the point of tanglement.

The formula for this would be :-

B=KP/S-BS*Tx where B=Balloon KP=Kid Picks S=String BS+Balloon Seller and Tx=Tanglement Matrix . The creates a Tangle matrix paradox therby meaning a balloon seller only exists in a time fram that is seperate to eh actual ballons - the string is a conduit for the time frame hence it exists in both realities.

Another point - what happens to all the balloons they dont sell.. do they have to spend the entire rest of the day holding them, sleeping and eatin with them until they get back to work the next day and try and sell them....

That is a deep question to which I don't know the answer. They probably don't get tangled because the balloon seller has years of experience in handling them. I always wondered why the balloons never took the sellers up up up into the sky!!
