how can i find out how old a webpage is without having access to the ftp?

one way help determine may be to see if it is found in The Wayback Machine, at www.archive.org. It takes snapshots of many different sites and your page may be listed there.

I didn't know there was a way unless the author told you. If the links are not working that would be a clue! I will be watching for answers from others that might know.
