i dunno maybe there should be. but you know some all black school do have white students. or maybe you can consider the college i went to an all white school. the % of minorty students was only 3%.

Actually in some areas they end up all white. If you're talking about black colleges -- they were started out of necessity so that minority students could get educated. Some whites didn't want to see blacks educated so they weren't allowed to attend many programs. Now it's great that people can go where they want and even if a white person wants to attend a historically black college -- they can (and should).

Oh believe me there are...most private and religious schools are all white. The truly sad thing is as a country we've returned to the same kind of public education Brown vs. the Board of Education did away with 50 years ago...segregated schools. You can thank George Bush for that.

Because of the double standards we allow in our society ... it has nothing to do with being racist! You don't hear of any white students complaining about not being able to get in to any of the all Black colleges, but if any other college had a 'Whites Only' admissions policy, you'd see Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Hillary Clinton (you know Bill was the first Black president ... don't you?), the NAACP and probably the Clan lining up to protest! Go figure!!

there are no all black schools, even some whites do attend "all black" colleges. there are however "all-white schools", due to locations.

plain and simple
white parents don't want to send their children to all black schools for stereotypically speaking fear of poor education and mounting violence
black parents want to send their children to white schools for stereotypically speaking a better education and less violence
