I don't know about being openly racist, but she is openly ignorant about nearly every topic upon which she speaks. Given that she lacks finese, intelligence, physical beauty, empathy, or inner beauty, it's a wonder she's even on television.

It's out there pretty "open." It's not just raciest with Rosie. There is a one-to-one ratio between her thoughts and her mouth. Most people in the media have to be responsible for what they say. So far, she seems to be flying under the gun with her brash, rude comments and insulting comments.

I didn't know that phrase was offensive either, but I still wouldn't say it, because what is the point in making fun of a culture? I really used to like Rosie, but now....she's just dumb. She needs to shut up. She hates Christians, because they dont' like her lifestyle. She yelled about Kelly Ripa because she doesn't want germs. Now she's making fun of Chinese people, intentionally or not! She needs to go on another cruise and leave us alone.

I don't think she's a racist. She is however a hypocritical, loudmouth, obnoxious, ignorant piece of dung that needs to learn when to stfu. Her mocking of the Chinese language was inappropriate and tactless. If someone would have made a joke aimed towards gay people she'd be the first to open her mouth.

I don't think she's racist. She's alot of things, but racist isn't one of them. She may sterotype, but what comedian doesn't? Stereotyping has been used by comedians since day one, yet they aren't all racist.

If she is she might as well be -- she's openly gay. We either like her or not. I think she needs to keep her mouth shut sometimes.

Hmm.. I don't know. I just read that article. She claims she didn't know that her statement was offensive, but it obviously was. Seems like there's been racial offenses being committed by celebs constantly these days, which is sad.
