OK I'm PO'd here. Just answer the guys question. I know many people with degree's that can't spell, and if you guys would think before you insulted this guy, you too would know that some of the same words we use are spelled a little differently in other countries. I hate to be the barrier of bad news, but this is the correct spelling for diesel, just not in the United States.
Perseverance and hard work are the components for reaching your goals. Attitude oversees them. Take any job you can get in a shop, apply what you know, and don't be arrogant about it. You will soon be well on your way to making things work out as you would expect them to. One of the smartest people in the world couldn't tie his shoes! Go to truck stops, and talk to truckers, and ask them where they get their engines repaired. I'll bet before the day is over with, you will have a huge list of places to look for work. If you are looking for a partner to start your own business with, then work with some guys until you find the right one to consider for this type of adventure. No one wants to just jump into a business with someone they don't know, and can trust. You got to work at it, and the right situation will present itself sooner or later. Be patient, and keep your eyes and ears open. You must believe in yourself before anyone else will.
Glad I could help. Good Luck!!!

Which University, one of those on the Internet offering a degree for $75 and labels off 25 coke bottles.
A degree in Disel repair from the University school of the scared cow in Khazakistan is about as much use as a CSE grade 5 in media studies., and if you had been any good you would have been kept on when the apprenticeship ended.
Try Mc Donalds, they aint fussy who they take on.

What has the apprenticeship taught you about life? What are you learning now?
I would say focus on an achieveable target for now. Work out what is within your control, and control it. When you have everything under your control in control, you can then seek to expand that control cycle into areas you may never have dreamt about.
Live within whatever means you have for the present, and work to understand where your future lies.
