Yeah, it's funny because Kelly Ripa says something that is no way bashing gay people (technically since we don't know where Clay stands).
However, Rosie can make fun of Asians and then give a no hearted apology...who does she think she is? She's a washed up comedian that hasn't been in a good movie since A League Of Their Own and she wasn't even the main star, rather a supporting character.

Rosie O'Donnell is destroying her career for some reason known only to her. She started out funny and personable and now she's loud and insulting. The ratings on the View went up when she started but that was just curiosity on the part of the viewers. I think Barbara Walters is going to give Rosie the boot anytime now.

I think people should send emails or letters to abc. That's the only way they'll know. I can't stand her, either. I don't watch the show. It looks to me like the others are uncomfortable with her also.
Barbara Walters claims their ratings have gone up since Odonnell came on. Walters also says she is controversial and the show has been in the news practically everyday as a result.
Do we have that many people around with bad taste ?

I like Rosie. I DO however think that her reaction to Kelly Rippa was uncalled for. I am also a parent, as is Rosie, and I would react the same way to someone putting their hand over my mouth.

Rosie is another perspective and that is after all what the "VIEW" is all about...
There are people like her, who appreciate her, she adds just as much as she takes away...
I for one hated Meredeth Vieria. To me, she represented everything that is wrong with society in the form of a rich, white, over privlidged, stuck up white wearing beeatch!
Rosie is no better in that she is the total opposite... but everyone needs to be heard so... look at Roseanne Barr if there were not people who could relate... no one would have watched for over 8 years~

Well, it's finally starting to come back to bite her. She's in trouble for saying that someone (I can't remember who) would even be popular in China and then starting doing the old "ching ching" Chinese talk like people used to do back at the beginning of last century. Chinese Americans, and all other minorities, are really pissed at her, and one Congressman went so far as to say, if someone else had said it, she'd accuse them of being homophobic. Clearly, she's letting her mouth write a check her a** can't cash.

Tired of Rosie O'Donnel's crap? My friend, that train left the station about five years ago. Actually, for me, the high point of her career was portraying Betty Rubble.

yeah i agree she said kelly ripa was wrong for saying "i don't know where those hands have been" yet she thinks nothing is wrong with her chinese thing she did. kelly ripa was just being funny, i mean why would clay cover her mouth i think that was a little rude. i wasn't offended by rosie's chinese comments but i think she proved she is hypocritical

Rosie acts like the celebrity cop, judge & jury. She's like a car wreck, you don't want to look, but you do......just to see what she'll do next. I hate the way she forces her political opinions on everyone.

I like her, but don't like the way she expresses some of her extremist views.
However, the popularity and ratings of the View have gone WAY up since she came on.
Frankly, anyone would have been better than Star....
