Why do we exist? has it occurred to you to ask yourself that is is possible that there might be "nothing" at all. I believe in God, that He exists. It is possible too that there is no higher being over us, that there's just nothing. Do you get what i mean? Why is there such a thing as Earth, the galaxy, the universe... is there anyone who's thinking about the same thing.

yes i believe in God, and His existence. I guess i am just pondering about the existence of existence, and the possibility of it's nonexistence. Hope that makes sense.

I never ask "why"...because it is not important.

We only question it because we have a hyper active brain trying to process a lot of information.

Did you ever see a cat or a dog asking about the meaning of life or why it exist?

Now...if you think we all have a purpose here...what is the purpose of the cat and the dog? Besides being used for human selfishness...

And what are all those religious nuts doing on the Net instead of being in Church? Is that not where they supposed to praise their God?

Human beings need to believe in a devine person in order to look forward to life beyond the present life. To me the existance of man is due to the fact that God got lonely and wanted a companion. He built the earth and he needs one to keep watch over it. Beside we have a more greater purpose on earth in that we are aiming to achieve world peace, which seem to be an objective that has being there from time immemorial

We can never answer such questions, but that does not keep up from wondering about them. The religious answers to you question may or may not be true. We can not know for sure. All religions are just an attempt by "man" to understand the things that we can never understand. They are helpful, but not absolutely correct in all matter. Have you heard the expression, --- "Man created God in his own image?" Think about it.

No - it's not possible that there's just "nothing". God has given us so many gifts to use for His glory. Appreciate and count all the wonderful things God has given us!! Take a good look at a baby and see if you still question

That's a huge question. I know that scientists have come to the conclusion, regardless of the many theories for the formation of the galaxy, that there was a divine influence in its' creation. It's just far too complex to be a random bit of luck.

It's hard for me to believe that with all the millions of plants there are that we are the only things going on......here's the bottom line, I choose to believe that god exists and Jesus Christ died for my sins, it's the best choice, don't pick it to death....live man!!! Whats the worst that can happen if you lead a God fearing life! People make excuses not to believe because they are to afraid of what they "THINK" they have to give up! WRONG.....it's what they will gain they cannot see......that's my opinion ....and i am nobody!

If we were all able to answer that and understand God's real nature, then He wouldn't be too much of a God and the universe won't be too much of a universe, would they? :)
