Open a new account and then forward all your saved messages to your new account.

Hello,

The difficultly is that you dont say which type of mail program you are using, is it a web based mail program or are you using Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird, @mail, Eudora and so on. Or is this purely a web browser based email system?

**Almost all email programs like those above do have some method of saving your old emails or archiving them, for example in outlook I can save my old mail folders including the contents i.e. old mail to a .pst file.

**You can often save individual mesages to a .eml file in Outlook or Outlook Express but that is slow & time consuming. I know you want to bulk save your messages or export them or import to a new program.

**I'm not familar with Yahoo's mail system but I would be most suprised if the program didnt allow you too store or save emails. Check with any online help inside the Yahoo mail program or if there is a support phone number or email for support you could try asking them?

**incidentally junk mail & spam is just a sad fact of email life, we all get varying amounts of the stuff. If spam is a problem you could look at an excellent anti spam program like Mailwasher pro which I highly recommend. see http://www.mailwasher.net or also http://www.firetrust.com

**Also see http://www.0spam.com (works with any type of email account or email service) Oh!! and its totally free for x1 pop3 account.
