I am a legal translator and I need to have a glosary with all this information. Could you please let me know if there is a way I can find this type of data in the internet.

There are hundreds of acronyms for intl. org, treaties and events. Here are some...

NAFTA: north american free trade agreement
WTO: world trade organization
NATO: North Atlantic Treaty Organization
EU: EUropean Union
ASEAN: Assocation of South East Asian Nations
OPEC: Organization of Petrolelum Exporting Countries
OECD: Organization for Economic Coopreration and Development
GATT: General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs
AU: African Union

God there are so many, that's all that i can think of now, good luck on the search.

Hmm, well ordinarily I'd say this'd probably be your best bet, but there are just so many that people'd probably leave out a whole bunch. I definitely think your best bets are 1) google and 2) wikipedia (or a combination thereof)
