Would you do it in front of your partner?
(I can't imagine a more simple and effective answer)

Yes. Flirting with someone other than your partner is a sign that you want to know what else is out there. If someone flirts with you and you did not initiate it, that is one thing. You can feel flattered. But don't initate the flirting and stop it as soon as it starts. Some people's personality could be considered a flirting personality even if they are only being nice and outgoing...or they always say "hun" or "sweetie" to everyone. If someone begins flirting with you and you are in a relationship then the flirting needs to be stopped at once. Think of it this way, would you want your partner flirting with someone else or would you be hurt?

Flirting is fun. As long as it happens at arms length who cares.
The most charming women I know are huge flirts.
Flirting is flattery and a big compliment. Accept it as that.

As for playing with fire, If flirting pushes you over the edge you need to find a little more self control.

hmm, were should i start? if u have hotmail, then u will see a new topic on how to get closer to ur guy. in that article there is written that flirting has to be allowed in a relationship. so far the fliritgn is harmless, andit doenst get u thinking about the person all day long its alright. flirting is good because it gives u ur sense of feeling "sexy"back again. that u can use and go to ur partner, if u know what i mean. check this link out, it might be helpfull

First ask yourself why you feel you need to flirt. Then consider your partners feelings before you consider your desires. Then ask your partner if he/she agreement to that behavior.
Personally, my conscience tells me that flirting definitely has the DNA of cheating. If your conscience doesn't convict you then maybe you need to be in an open relationship otherwise I think you're playing with fire.

absolutely not That would mean if being nice to someone and they take it as flirting everyone would be battling with a cheaters label. Flirting is being nice to someone most of the time isnt it.? flirting can be showing an appreciation for one another. i just think humans naturally flirt.

Well, I was watching America's Next Top Model today and I think I like Tyra's advice:

She said that she tells her boyfriend to flirt with whoever he wants and have a great time without her. But he better come home and make sure that she's the one he's "doing."

I think this is great. It shows that their relationship has a lot of trust.

Hope that helped! :)

if u cant even answer that question for urself, then oh boy, i feel sorry for ur boyfreinds in the future..would u want to walk into a bar and see ur man flirting with all these girls? would u be happy and proud to see him fliring? or kind of hurt in a way? i see ppl say its ok to flirt, that means ur not satisfied with ur partner, ands will break the **** out of their heart, cuz u wont say anything, and u are an evil do'er!!!

I don't think its cheating but its really not very good for your partner's self esteem. If you love that person you wouldn't flirt when they're around

No. Flirtation is a natural human instinct that cannot always be controlled. As my mother always told my father "you can look at the menu but you cant order" basically looking and a little flirting is okay as long as there is no physical interaction.
