I think you need to adjust your inner perspective. They aren't demons at all. Structure is everything. I view them as small conflicting problems that arise on a daily basis. Luckily mine are worked out while I am driving 70 miles an hour on my way home. If I get a really disturbing thought I look for the source, there is always something that sets off a bad mood. Like being in too much of a hurry or you are just having one of those days. I also think if you put too much of a label on a thought you are asking for a loop, which is the same thought being repeated over and over again. Of course if you attach a label on a loop and that loop is self destructive you have a problem. In my world every thing is much more rational, no demons and no mystical beast. Sorry, I just have this guy with all of the wrinkles on his head guiding the traffic and he always tries to do his best.
