I'm not sure which country supported a "sneak attack" on us. I'm pretty sure the last sneak attack on us was 9/11, carried out by a non-state terrorist group (if any state sponsor was behind it, other than Afghanistan it was probably Saudi Arabia though likely indirectly). And before them, the last country to "sneak attack" us was Japan. And we all know how that turned out (I distinctly remember reading about two mushroom clouds over japanese cities...) So I think we've done enough example making.

Why are you asking these questions and why do I get the feeling that, though you are obviously criticising America, you don't really know much about the subject?
Dear World, stop trying to tell me what the problem with America is. I know better than you do, I swear.
And yeah! Never-forget 9/11! As long as we remember, we'll have an excuse to bomb the **** out of someone!
That's some good thinkin there, BJ.
And Del, don't confuse liberals with what I do with your girlfriend. Pretty stupid and immature thing to say, right? Now you know how disapointed I am in how stupid that was.
If you can't think of something intelligent to say, just shut up, for your own good. You don't have to, but really, it might be smart.

Who are you expecting? Al Qaeda attacked and Bush blew the response by going to Iraq and let Afghanistan off the hook. No one else is going to attack us with the possible exceptions of North Korea and Iran. If they attack, pave those countries.

That`s what Bush tried to BRAINWASH America in to believing he did with 9-11, but the problem with that was very few of the terrorist were from IRAQ.

Waging war base on the outdated "soveriegn nation" paradigm isn't gonna work any more.
Maybe someone should on Yahoo! Answers can give a credible suggestion to responding to "evil" - which has developed a solidarity that is spanning borders.

Depends on the severity of the attack. Although it would serve to deter any more attacks.
