I am my own god?
And you, your own god?
Do I not worship myself by eating,
pray to myself when I think,
preach myself with simple hygene,
praise myself by feeling happy?

The answer is unequivocally "yes and no". Ultimately, there is only One Being and if we call this Being "God" then each of us is God. If you don't understand how it is possible for all of us to BE the One Being, then you might want to look at some of my other answers because I have discussed all of this on several occasions. (Basically, our "sense of being" is the one and same for all of us, even though we each have different memories, etc. You can think of Multiple Personality Disorder, which involve barriers of amnesia between individual personalities that make them each feel like they are unique beings when in fact they are all the same person. Apply this concept to different people. You can then understand the source of our true sense of being individual personalities as well as our false sense of being metaphysically isolated entities.)

So are you God? Yes, there is a sense in which you are, insofar as you share in the source of Being. But are you "your own" God and am I "my own" God? No. In the sense in which it is true to say that we are God, we are also One Being, not metaphysically isolated beings. You are Being Itself experiencing the world, and "the world" is essentially just Being Itself as it experiences Itself, so in some sense all of your experiences of the world are experiences of your Self.

I suppose this means that when you eat, you eat yourself, which puts a whole new twist on the old proverb "You are what you eat" ;-)

When you think about life, you are Being Itself engaged in Self exploration, which can take on a prayerful form.

When you take a bath, you are Being Itself immersing Itself within Itself, and I suppose enjoying a degree of cleanliness in the process.

When you are happy, you are Being Itself enjoying Itself, which I suppose is a sort of Self-reward for meeting the challenge of standing out from the Nothingness from which you emerged, and to which there is always the immanent possibility you will return.
