why is shooting up drugs bad for u ?
apart from addiction and catching stuff if u share needles
not 4 me my friend is doing it and i want em to stop

You don't have to share needles with anyone to "catch stuff". You're always at risk for getting a staph infection. You can blow out your veins from constant use, making it difficult if you need to have blood drawn in the future. You're never 100% sure what's in the drugs you're shooting so you're exposing yourself to all sorts of toxins. You could "miss" it can get infected you could lose a limb or need to have the infected tissue cut out. The list goes on and on.

Shooting drugs is a very bad because the drugs go directly into the blood stream and they do not get filtered by the liver at all. Its direct stimulate to the body part.

If your friend is shooting up they have a VERY VERY hard and long road ahead of them. What you need to do is get all the friends and family member of the friend together and sit them down and have each person tell that friend how the freinds drug addiction has messed with the friends life. Then the person needs to go into therapy.

It will take years before your addict is back to normal (if ever). The person will not want your help and will fight you and even hit you. You need to have a serious intervention (google intervention if your unsure what it is). If the person has ANY relationship with family members talk to the family members to get them help.

It destroys your body... especially brain cells. The damage is permanent, and irreversible. If you took enough of it for a long period of time (and survived) you'd litterally go brain dead.
