Does your chewing gum lose it's flavour on the bedpost overnight? When your mother says "Don't chew it!" , do you swallow it in spite? I'm not over 35, but I know it anyway!

In my opinion it depends on the size of the gum. If it's like the dentine size I shove another one in. If it's like the wriggleys stick I spit and reapply.

interesting question. I kinda chew a while even after it lost its flavor.. but I never add a new peice without prior discarding the old one.
