The city I live in is liberal capital of the contry- San Francisco. They are so far lounitic left here they have gotten into the habit of spiting into the face of our military. They banned j.r.o.tc, they banned military recruitment at school, they banned a historic navy ship that fought in ww2 as a museum and monument, and depict our service men and women as awful beings. I live here, trust me- one of our district supervisors, G.Sandoval beleives we shouldn't have a military at all. He rather send cops to defend our shores. I disagree with the current managment of this war, but I also understand that sometimes war is necessary. We don't live in theory were every one loves eachother. These men and women make the ultimate sacrafice and volunterly take up arms so that we can sit here and enjoy our freedom. So please , someone tell me what the hell is wrong with these s.f ****** nuts!

Ask somebody that feels this way about JROTC and recruiters in schools why they do, i'm sure they'll be happy to tell you. I don't like it either.
Maybe there was something else to making that WW2 ship a monument, or the people in SF believe there are better uses to put the money to other than what this monument would cost.
If you understand one side and oppose the other, try to understand the other side before becoming passionate about the side you take, otherwise you're misjudging a situation or getting misperceptions. I'm sure if you were to ask somebody that's against these things, they'd be able to give you a few good reasons. Don't just shrug them off as lunatics, find out why they feel this way.
Now I have a question for you:
How would we *not* be able to enjoy our freedom if we weren't at war right now?

I know the reason, Its because the American military does not sit its *** at home. it goes about attacking every weak country in the world. I'm happy to see there still are a few people who realize that America is the only country where there is no freedom. Your phones are bugged and tapped by your government.You are constantly under surveillance by the CIA and NSA. hell, the present situation in your country can be compared to the ruling of Germany by Hitler.And one more thing, nobody out there in the world despises your freedom or your democracy, we know that you guys are puppets of your government and really have no freedom.

because a lot of them is nosey and want to be a hero, for example when the UN try to bombard Baghdad, there are some people who call themselve human shield from some country go and stay in some building to prevent US to bomb the area.This is so stupid and naive.
Police and volunteers is not train to handle terrorist warfare if it really happen in the country, that why Military came in to protect the country.Thats why they are known as what you call them s.f ****** nuts.

I think it is because so many of them are not only anti-MILITARY, I really believe that their feelings run anti-AMERICAN. Why else would they have such aversion to the military, and anything relating to the military, in other words anything that had or has to do with the security and defense of OUR country. The very people that we should all be grateful for, who put their lives on the line for US, they revile. It is very scary. And now we have Nancy Pelosi.
