Please answer truthfully! Are earlobe piercings (one on each earlobe) worse than bee stings? What would you compare the pain of an earlobe piercing (with an instrument/gun) with? Something common please (the comparative pain). Please help! Is it worse than a blood test because it is a thicker needle/earring post? How much worse than an injection/needle at the doctors in the upper arm?
What is the pain of an earlobe piercing on a scale? I am in my mid teens...have wanted them pierced since I was young but was too afraid! I am fine with needles and bloodtests n(they don't hurt on a scale probably a one for me...should I be worried about the earlobe piercings?

I meant on a scale of one to ten. One being minor ten being extreme unbearable pain.

I got my ears pierced when I was eleven, and it stung at first, but after a few minutes, I was fine! However, I have known people to have a wide range of reactions from not being able to feel a thing to throwing up! So just make sure you get your ears pierced at a safe, sterile place. Check to make sure they use new, clean needles on everyone, that the size of the earring is not too small (otherwise the stud can fall inside of your piercing - this happened to me and was NOT fun!) and that their employees are skilled. Compared to eyebrow plucking, it has the same feeling, but a little more intense. I've never had a dentist injection, sorry, but as for a doctor's jab, it hurts in a different sort of way. It's closer to pinching yourself with sharp nails, except pinching is more a prolonged feeling. Please make an informed decision!

I pierced my ears myself in three places. I thought the pain was very minor. Even less painful than a shot. I give it a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.
A bee sting is about 7 and a wasp sting is an 8.
10 is a kick in the groin.

I have nine piercings. Six lobes, one tragus, one nostril and my navel. I've been stung by a wasp and I wanted to absolutely die. My firs set of lobe piercings took place when I was 2 weeks old. But the other lobe piercings happened when I was 19 and 23. I would have to say lobe piercings are a 1 compared to a bee, which I would say is a 8-10 depending on the agression/type of bee. If you are just getting your lobes pierced, chances are you'll feel pretty much nothing...but if you are moving up to cartiledge, that is when you'll actually start to feel the piercings, but even then they aren't that painful. I have my tragus pierced, the pain wasn't bad, but I did feel it. It hurt more than my nose. It wasn't the pain of the piercing that bothered me, it was the complications with healing that bothered me, of course that could have been prevented. But I certainly won't get my other tragus pierced. I think with piercings/tattoos we tend to psyche oursleves out and in the end the pain is usually nothing compared to what we assumed it would be.

Well I would agree that a bee sting is worse. I got my ears pierced about 2 years ago, and even though it did hurt (4 on the scale) at least you know you will have earrings, while with a bee sting.....it just hurts.

An ear piercing stings at first,but it gets reakky sore afterward which is the worst part.I'd say it would be a 2,10 being kicked in the face really hard (when ur already down)with soccer cleats in a viscios 13-14 yr.old girls soccer game against our rivals from cerritos.

a bee sting id more painful id say 8 out of 10
for earpiercing (had it done 4 times) id say 2 out of 10 more like a burning sensation than pain really. my worst would be blood tests. they hurt a lot...

they normally do both together and it's a quick sting maybe 1 out of 10 then it's ok, may daughter had it done at 4 y/o and didn't cry so couldn't have hurt that much

earlobe piercing? Do you mean the small thing which block the ear hole. piercing that is very very painful. you might even faint due to the extreme pain....

in our country its traditional to pierce your ears when your 1 year old or sometimes even less, so it doesn't hurt ;) i have 2 piercings ..
